Travel By Star is a travel website that allows users to book unsold rooms at popular hotels for a substantial discount. Access to this inventory is sold exclusively through Daily Deal and Flash Deal websites.
Lucky Web Design was hired to create the website, hotel booking engine and administration area utilizing various third party APIs. First we began by creating a unique logo and website design concept that is carried throughout the website and social media pages. Next we designed a scalable and modular platform to provide the foundation for the website. The system is designed from the ground up using Laravel, Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, PHP and MySQL. Integration with the Tourico Travel API, PayPal and Stripe is at the core of the sites functionality. Development continues with the addition of “on-request” inventory as well as a comprehensive room upgrade system, Rental Car and Airfare modules.
